All the answers you're looking for
If you're new or looking for answers to your questions, this guide will help you learn more about our services and their features.
Yes, you can download and install the Elements open source files from Github for free. You can also request support directly from the Elements Discord community.
Our payment terms include a 25% non-refundable deposit to secure your project’s start date. An additional 25% is invoiced at project kickoff. The remaining 50% is due upon project completion, at which point we will deliver all source code for your back-end and grant you full intellectual property ownership of the code developed for your game.
Of course you can! Our pricing scales with your company. Chat with our friendly team to find a solution that works for you as you grow.
Yes, our metadata system lets you customize your items and query them in both API calls and game code. Additionally, our scripting engine allows for direct database access.
Yes, the Elements CMS allows you to view, edit, and modify your digital inventory in a GUI. You can also review directly in the API as well.
Yes, we support bulk-import from CSV as a co-dev service included in our Elements Meta and Elements Pro plans.
Yes, we will develop all of the server-side logic in Elements for virtually any metagame; including custom purchase logic, ownership, distinct digital goods, hero stats, player stats, and more, provided that logic exists within Elements existing functionality. We will review your game design document to understand your in-game economy rules and workflow to work with your metagame requirements and provide you with all of the API endpoints that you’ll need.
This level of support would fall under our Enterprise services and would be out of scope for our co-development packages. In terms of co-dev packages, we will establish your meta game server-side code using the Elements API standards. This includes writing the server-side logic for your digital economy from the ground-up within the Elements framework.
When you hire Namazu Studios as an Enterprise solution, we will call into your code with an API, provided you can deliver an API document and a technical contact who is willing to provide timely support for any questions we may have.
Yes, we are happy to upload new items or metadata to your game’s database. When you work with us as your co-development partner, if you have a CSV or JSON file with your game’s metadata, the upload is included as part of your specific co-development package. If you need additional metadata uploaded after delivery, you can request additional help via a support ticket.
For our co-development packages, we handle all of the server-logic required to launch your game. You will be responsible for all client-side and game engine development, which includes the design of your metagame’s mechanics and business logic. If you need to make any minor changes to your metagame after the project has been delivered, you can request this with a revised game design document (for co-dev packages that include revisions).
Yes, we’re happy to help with this as a part of our full-production work-for-hire development services, of which our technical sales team can work with you to arrive at an estimate. Simply provide us with your game’s business logic in a game design document, and our team will develop your metagame in your game engine of choice.
