Namazu Cloud Add-ons

AI Doc Summarizer Doc Summary
AI Doc Summarizer Thinking Thinking

Add-ons are extras an organization can purchase on top of its instances. Each add-on in the catalog is either a subscription, billed on a recurring cycle, or a one-time purchase. Add-ons are bought against an organization and paid for through Stripe, the same billing used for instance usage.

The Add-ons Catalog #

The Add-ons section of the portal lists what is available, each entry showing its name, description, display price and currency, and whether it is a subscription or a one-time purchase. The catalog is curated by Namazu administrators; as an organization owner you pick the add-ons you want.

Purchasing #

Only the organization’s owner can start a purchase. When you choose an add-on, Namazu Cloud opens Stripe Checkout for that add-on and redirects your browser to Stripe. Depending on the add-on type, the checkout collects either a one-time payment or the start of a recurring subscription. When payment succeeds you are returned to the portal.

Billing readiness applies here just as it does to instance creation: the organization must have a payment method on file before a purchase can start. See Namazu Cloud Billing.

Your Purchases #

The portal lists every add-on purchase the organization has made, newest first, with the add-on, its type, and its current status as reported from the billing provider. When you complete a Stripe Checkout, the purchase appears here with the real payment reference; before that, it shows as in progress while the payment is collected.

Subscriptions you did not start from the portal (for example, something set up for you out of band) still appear once the billing provider confirms them, so the list is always an accurate mirror of what the organization is paying for.

Managing Add-ons #

For self-Service management of subscriptions and payment methods, the billing page opens the Stripe Customer Portal for your organization. From there, what you can do depends on what Stripe lets a customer manage: typically updating the payment method, and cancelling or changing a subscription. See Namazu Cloud Billing.
